My name is Pieter van Loosbroek (born 1971), founder and managing partner at steervalue. I have over 25 years experience in different Finance areas of international companies. I am passionate about innovating the role of Finance and specifically FP&A and Business Control, to become that pro-active business partner that is steering the business to drive impact and create value.
During my time with Coca-Cola and HEINEKEN, I experienced that Finance can spend much more time on value adding outcomes, instead of spending time on outputs, like tools, reports, analysis..
With steervalue, I address this opportunity, and help companies, big and smaller, to get the most out of their Finance teams. Going beyond financial figures and understand relevant internal and external drivers behind the numbers, to be able to focus on business decision-making.
Carlos Musters
My name is Carlos Musters (born 1976), partner at steervalue. After completing my Business Economics studies, I gained extensive work experience at companies including Hunter Douglas Europe, Coca-Cola Enterprises (now Coca-Cola Europacific Partners), Suiker Unie (now Cosun Beet Company), Royal Cosun, Leen Bakker Holding, IZICO Foodgroup (now GoodLife Foods), Olympic Food Group (now Fruitful Ventures), and Heemskerk fresh & easy.
From various financial management positions and leading (CFO) management roles, I have dealt with a variety of business matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), integrations, reorganizations and refinancing.
During my career I have always paid special attention to the development of the Finance role, in particular Business Control. After all, to unlock Finance potential it is crucial to continuously improve and balance people, process and technology.
My business competencies can be summarized as independent with a positive mindset (can-do), business savvy, commercial, entrepreneurial, in control, risk-aware, and with an eye for quality.
